My Background

Personal Profile

Suzette has been practicing Acupuncture and TEAM ( Traditional East Asian Medicine) since 2002. She initially trained at the International College of Oriental Medicine where a traditional 5 element approach, with Stems and Branches focuses on the individual . 5 element theorises that when you bring balance back to the body, health is returned and symptoms disappear . Suzette then continued her formal education at Brighton University to gain her BSc in 2005.

As a member of the BAcC, CPD is mandatory, but also something which invigorates Suzette’s practice; the following courses have been instrumental in developing the way Suzette practices and has enhanced her patients experiences and outcomes.

Dr Tan - Balance Method, particulary good for fast results for pain relief

Korean Hand Therapy - a micro system used in clinic alongside body acupuncture and given as home care to aid recovery at home

Shen & emotions -  Acupuncture for stress and emotional issues

Oncology Program - An integrated approach of Acupuncture for cancer patients and survivors

Electro Acupuncture -  particularly good for chronic painful conditions

Suzette has a busy General Practice and when not working enjoys her dog Mr Tan the Chow Chow ( yes the dog is named after Dr Tan!) and Tai Chi.
